+The transport model contains two sub models: [[passenger_model|passengers]] and [[fregiht_model|freight]]. They are independent one to each other. Each submodel computes the energy demand divided per type of fuel. This energy demand is multiplicated by the [[emissions_transport|specific emissions]] of each fuel (Emissions/PJ<sub>fuel</sub>) in order to obtain the total emissions from transport.
