The capacity factor of a hydro dam is the ratio between the electricity produced (average supplied power) and the installed power. The electricity production and the installed power were 17'286 GWh and 8.08 GW respectively in 2011 ^[1]. Thus the capacity factor for hydro dam is assumed to be 0.244.
