Centralized cogeneration emissions
The emissions per MJfuel burned by a centralized cogeneration technology are calculated from Ecoinvent V2.2 [1]. The selected data sets are:
| CCGT-CHP | natural gas, burned in combined cycle plant, best technology, RER, [MJ] |
|---|---|
| Biomass-CHP | wood chips, burned in cogen 6400kWth, emission control, CH, [MJ] |
| Waste-CHP | municipal solid waste, to municipal incineration, CH, [kg] * |
*LHVwaste = 11.74 MJ/kg
