The capacity factor for 2035 and 2050 is variable because the CCGT is treated in a special way in the calculator: it is assumed that this technology will only be following peak demand profile when existing technologies cannot cover this demand. Thus it is assumed that CCGT plants will never generate excess electricity. Therefore its capacity factor will be 0.8 (7000 hours/year [2]) or lower.
