===== Hot water ===== The daily consumption per capita is considered to be a constant value: 50 liters of hot water [l/day/cap] (equivalent to one shower [[#Sources|[1]]]). Then the net energy demand for hot water production is calculated by setting a temperature increase of 40°C (i.e. considering a hot water supply temperature of 50°C). The 2011 consumption is reported to be 31.7 PJ ([[#Sources|[2]]]). This corresponds to an efficiency of 75-80%. This efficiency takes into account the losses in the boiler and in all the piping system. For the 2050 and 2035 scenarios, the efficiency will depend on the selection that the user has done in the submodel "Heating and Cogeneration". ===== Sources ===== [1] [[http://www.suisseenergie.ch/pub/p574/fr-ch|SuisseEnergie - Réinventez l'eau chaude!
