====== CCGT capacity factor ======
The [[capacity_factor|capacity factor]] for 2035 and 2050 is variable because the [[combined_gas_cycle_more|CCGT]] is treated in a special way in the calculator: it is assumed that this technology will only be following peak demand profile when existing technologies cannot cover this demand. Thus it is assumed that [[combined_gas_cycle_more|CCGT]] plants will never generate excess electricity. Therefore its [[capacity_factor|capacity factor]] will be 0.8 (7000 hours/year <sup>[[#References|[2]]]</sup>) or lower.
