====== Wind turbines capacity factor ======
The [[capacity_factor|capacity factor]] for 2012 was 0.227 <sup>[[#Reference|[1]]]</sup> (assuming a constant installation rate for the power installed during 2012). This value is lower than the average [[capacity_factor|capacity factor]] for [[wind|wind turbines]], which worldwide is 0.26 and it is expected to reach 0.31 <sup>[[#Reference|[2]]]</sup> by 2050, thus we have used lower values for 2035 and 2050.
